Rein Security Raises $25 Million to Guard AI Agents at Runtime

The cybersecurity startup will invest in product innovation, agentic research, and employee base expansion.

Cybersecurity funding

Cybersecurity startup Rein Security today announced raising $25 million in a Series A funding round that brings the total raised by the company to $35 million.

The fresh investment round was co-led by Glilot Capital and Sienna Venture Capital, with additional support from Corner Ventures, Atlacle and RNP Capital Advisors.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv and New York City, Rein was founded in 2024 to protect applications at runtime and provide real-time context inside production environments, and has since extended its technology to AI agents.

Rein’s AI-native security platform operates where agents execute actions, providing visibility into their behavior, real-time guardrails, and governance, while also offering supply chain security for AI agents.

With AI adoption outpacing security, Rein’s patented, real-time architecture promises protections that can keep up. According to the company, its solution already secures thousands of agents across multiple industries.

The startup will use the fresh funding to accelerate product innovation and advance agentic research. It also plans to expand its global employee base.

“The agent economy is upon us, and the rapid adoption of AI agents is creating a fundamental shift in enterprise security,” Glilot Capital’s Arik Kleinstein said.

“As agents gain the ability to access systems, make decisions, and act autonomously, enterprises need a new approach built specifically for this new landscape. This is a fast-moving and underserved area of security, and Rein has the platform, vision and early traction to help define it,” Kleinstein added.
